Edinburgh

One of the most romantic places to visit in the UK is Edinburgh; a popular choice for couples all year round. The Scottish capital is full of history, culture, beautiful scenery and entertainment, meaning there is plenty for to be doing. Edinburgh castle is a must see and a climb to the top of Arthur’s Seat will give you the best view of the city. If it’s a sunny day be sure to take a picnic to St Andrew’s Square where there is often live entertainment in the gardens.  Llangollen, Wales

This is only a small but vibrant town in the north of Wales with plenty to do and many natural wonders. As well as high mountains, white rivers and the canals where you can take trips on a horse drew canal boats, there are also castles and forts, historic buildings and beautiful gardens for you to visit. While you’re there you will not want to miss a trip to the Llangollen Steam Railway. This takes you through some of a gorgeous scenery that the country has to offer. Check out the Station Café and Bar nearby for a romantic dinner beside the canal.

Cornwall

With its breathtaking scenery and charming little pubs to cosy up in, Cornwall is a perfect spot for a mini moon. It’s the place that captures the heart of anyone who visits and you will instantly fall in love with its sandy beaches and rugged coastline.  If you’re lovers of nature check out the Trebah Gardens, which are home to exotic flora and a stream from the River Helford that runs through making it a special place for a walk with your partner.
