Charlotte originally from Yorkshire married Gavin from Whitley Bay at St Mary’s Lighthouse, they held their reception at Jury’s Inn Gateshead.
The seaside meets countryside wedding was captured by Pete from Eye of the Tyne Photography.

Charlotte asked us to use a pale/blush pink and ivory colour theme with pale blue in her bouquet (her ‘something blue’). For the actual flower choices they left us to do ‘our thing’ as they had 100% trust in us to create the perfect flowers to reflect them as a couple, with the ceremony venue being seaside themed and the reception venue being Yorkshire country garden themed. The seaside element was created by using seashells and starfish in the bouquets, with Gavin’s buttonhole also incorporating seashells and a starfish (as chosen by the Groom). We used trailing asparagus fern in the bouquets and buttonholes which created a seaweed look.

Driftwood was used on the registry table with some jars covered in ribbon and seashells filled with mixed flowers, to match with the seaside look. This was then transferred to their reception to be used on their sweetheart table.
We created the Yorkshire country garden look by using lots of foliages, including herbs, pretty pastel colours and soft delicate flowers, posy arrangements with trailing foliages placed on mosaic vases and hand tied bouquets in cube vases placed on mirror plates with a silver votive containing a single rose were used on the tables.

Lots of the flower types were used in the bouquets, buttonholes and at both venues to create a uniformed look combining both themes.
